Photography

While chasing my growing boys around with a camera and having a wife that is a nationally-known scrapbooker, I jumped head-first into photography.  I love to shoot with natural light and would love to capture your next project or event on digital media.  All sessions will include the “best shots” burned to disc for you to cherish for years to come.  My photography experience includes portraits for Brides, Families, Musicians, and High School Seniors.  I have also shot landscapes, architecture, and products.  Sometimes, I’m inspired to be creative behind the camera – producing images made from light, smoke, and fireworks seen here.

About Me

A little about me:  I was born, raised, and still reside in Breckenridge, TX, with my beautiful wife Jennifer (who also happens to be my high school sweetheart and best friend).  We have 2 high-energy boys: Evan and Aaron.  When I’m not designing, I am also the Worship Leader of New Life Restoration Church where I play guitar and sing.  Jenny and I are blessed to have both our extended families living in our town and enjoy hanging out together.

New Website for The Marketplace

Well, its been a while since I’ve added to the blog, but I’ve got another website to show you!  I just added a new site to the Portfolio for The Marketplace Cafe, Gifts & Catering.  The Marketplace is the classiest and most say the best tasting place to eat in Breckenridge.  Housed in a historic 1920s building, the Marketplace is known for its sandwiches, soups, and salad bar.  They also have gifts to buy within the restaurant, and are a great spot for a party or shower.  The site has a cool page-turning feature on the menus and will have a photo gallery and tie-ins to their Facebook account.  Check it out by visiting www.marketplacebreckenridge.com.

New Website for Cedar Creek Taxidermy

I just added a new site to the Portfolio – and also just went live with the newest site I designed.  Cedar Creek Taxidermy is my brother-in-law’s taxidermy business in Breckenridge.  His original site was one of the first I ever designed – way back in 2003!  He was way overdue for a redesign, so I created him a major upgrade to his old site – complete with a huge gallery, lots of interactivity including price sheet download, Google map location, interactive pricing chart, and a news blog section.  Check it out by visiting www.cedarcreektaxidermy.com.

Since I have fallen in love with WordPress, I decided to revamp my site.  The new site improves upon my old site in several ways:  1) It is in WordPress, not Flash, so my portfolio can now be viewed on an iPhone, iPod, or iPad.  2)  I have lots more flexibility in adding/deleting works.  3) The contact form is more secure.  and 4) the Blog feature (which you are reading now) allows me to add updates and let everyone know what projects I’m working on, and to share the things I like with you the reader.  I hope you enjoy.
